Breakfast~Do you use a day planner, calendar, notebook, computer program, PDA, lists on some random piece of paper, or just totally wing things to stay organized? I use Amy Knapp's Family Organizer, and I sing it's praises often. There is a spot for me to plan my menus, and the boxes are usually big enough for me to write everything.

This magnetic calendar shown below hangs on my fridge. Well, one just like it. In the first column, I write the kids activities, the 2nd column is devoted to me & Jeff, the 3rd column shows everyone in the house what we are having for dinner, and the 4th column is titled "Misc." This is how I keep the family organized. Well, try to at least! ;-)
Lunch~What is something that you have too much of? Time. I have so much time on my hands, I hardly know what to do with myself. Okay, I am so totally joking!!! I probably have too many cookbooks, but that's what happens when you collect something. I know I need to get rid of some of the ones that aren't so great, but that is just really hard for me to do.
Dinner~What is one of the most important qualities you need in a friend? Loyalty, honesty, devotedness, acceptance....shall I go on? I can't list just one! It's really important for me to be able to be myself around my friends. I don't like to be fake or put on airs. Also, it is important for me to have friends that will last for a very long time. In college, I had friends that came and went, and that was fine...then. I prefer to have friends forever. Sure, the friendship may change as we change, but I like to know that no matter what we will always be there for each other.
Midnight Snack~Describe yourself using only three adjectives.
1. Loyal...I think I described that above.
2. Friendly...I try to be friendly to everyone, but I am sure I don't always succeed.
3. Busy....I have a lot going on in my life, and I like it that way...usually.
Recipe for this Week (instead of your recipe for life - what is it for just this week?) Just remember that "This too shall pass." It has been my moto for the week, becuase Meghan has been a handful, Ali has been a tad (only a tad is good for her) sassy, and Josh has been a completely different child, which is so not a good thing. I just keep telling myself that this season of my life will pass by, and then I will wish I had it back. Although, I find it hard to believe, but from what others say I do know that it is true.
Come dish with us at Beacon of Hope.
