Monday Morning Meme

1. What was the last thing you laughed at? Would you say you have a great sense of humor? What sorts of things make you laugh in general? Would you say people “get” your humor? The last thing I laughed at would be my husband last night. He was just being silly. I have to say that we laugh together quite a bit, which I love. I don't really know what things make me laugh really. I like silliness, and that makes me laugh. I feel like my humor is pretty typical, kind of an America's Funniest Videos type of humor, and I think most people "get" my humor.

2. How many pieces of jewelery are you wearing at this very moment? Do you wear jewelry every day, or only on special occasions? What is your favorite piece of jewelery? Tell us the story behind one piece of your jewelery. I am currently wearing my wedding ring, as well as the diamond earrings Jeff gave me on our wedding day. I wear those pieces almost all the time. My engagement ring is probably my favorite piece of jewelery, but I also have a cameo necklace that once belonged to my grandmother that I am fond of. Oh, I can't forget the necklace Jeff gave me for Christmas a few years ago. It is two overlapping circles that signify us, and within the overlapping area are three diamonds...one for each of our children. I would normally wear that everyday, but I need to get the clasp on the necklace fixed. I have needed to do that for about a year!

3. If you could offer one piece of etiquette advice that everyone should follow when dining out, what would it be? Hmmmmm? I can't actually think of a piece of dining etiquette that I would offer. I suppose I feel that people should treat their server kindly, and not like a servant. At the same time, I feel servers need to realize that tips are not automatic. Tips should be given based on how you served the customer. Just my opinion. I mean, if a server is not going to check back on me, refill my soda, or be friendly, then I am not going to leave them a very good tip.

4. What are the first three things a guest would notice when they walked through your front door? 1. Well, they would instantly know that I have kids, because there will most likely be toys scattered about. 2. Hopefully they would also notice that my home smells decent. My friend Carrie says my home reminds her of those fresh linen candles, because I do laundry a lot. I think that is a compliment. ;-) I am always lighting candles or my Lampe Bergers though, so it usually smells good. Actually, I probably need to light my Lampe Bergers more, but it still smells alright. 3. They would probably also notice my large candle holder off to their right. That seems to get a lot of attention. Here is a picture...
