1. If you knew of a way to use your estate (and let’s assume you HAVE money to leave), following your death, to greatly benefit humanity, would you do it and leave only a minimal amount to your family? Why or why not? Well, since my family would be included in the humanity, I would have to say that I would. Greatly is the word that got me. We aren't talking about building a cool statue in the center of town. We are talking about benefiting many people. I like to think my family would not only understand but that they would agree with my decision.
2. What’s something your parents used to say to you as a child that you promised yourself you’d never say — but now you catch yourself saying all the time? Now tell us something that you say all the time that is uniquely you. That would have to be "because I said so!" That used to drive me nuts, but now I find myself saying that all the time. Kids are just naturally curious, and they want to know every little thing. My children don't need to know why we are going to the grocery store. The minute I tell them "because we need food," I will be asked a million other questions. Sometimes saying "because I said so" is much, much simpler. As for something I say all the time that is uniquely me, I guess that would be "Quit fighting!" Oh, that isn't unique? I really don't know what is then. I have unique things I call my kids, but I don't have a unique saying. Sorry!
3. List all the things you’d put in a time capsule to be opened in 40 years. Definitely a current cookbook. I love looking back on older cookbooks. You can get a feel for the era in a cookbook. I would also put some music in there, some current newspapers and magazine articles that I found interesting. Some clothing pieces from our era should also go in there, since in 40 years they might be back in style. ;-)
4.Do you prefer gas grills or charcoal grills? Do you grill out very often? When was the last time you grilled? What did you grill? Tell us about your favorite grilling memory. I prefer charcoal grills, and I think I always will. The taste is far better, in my opinion. We only grill out 2 or 3 times a month during the nicer months (June through September). We actually just grilled out yesterday. Jeffrey made 2 beer can chickens, and they were quite tasty. I can't say that I really have a favorite grilling memory, but that may be because I don't ever do the grilling. When I was little my mom had that job, but she taught me when I got married to never learn how to grill. She said that I would forever have to do it if I did learn, so I have listened to her wise words, and now Jeff does all the grill cooking for our family.

I too opted to leave my money to humanity, because as you said it would help them too :) Happy Monday morning :)
I also said I would leave a current cookbook in my capsule.
