Getting Ready

Thanksgiving is a little over 2 weeks away. I am super excited! I just love this time of year, and I love hosting this wonderful holiday. What's not to love about a time to reflect on all God has given us??? Exactly...nothing!

So, I finalized our menu for the big day. Here it is...

Veggie Tray
Relish Tray (black olives, mild peppers & sweet baby gherkins)
Cheese Ball with Crackers
Raspberry Pretzel Dip w/Pretzels
Shrimp Cocktail Spread w/Crackers

Fried Turkey
Crockpot Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy
Crockpot Stuffing
Green Bean Casserole
Baked Beans (These are a staple at all Cole family functions)
Cranberry Relish
Crockpot Scalloped Corn
Deviled Eggs
Rolls w/Butter

Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie

I can't wait!! Now I just need to make a grocery list, and I need to start buying a little bit this week and next. Can you tell I am a fan of being prepared?

What does your Thanksgiving menu look like? What foods are must haves on this holiday? Do share!

pizza

Just kidding. This will actually be my first meal at my house in 26 years. We usually travel south for the Holiday, but we are staying home this year. All the kids will be here.

So do I do....Dominos or Pizza Hut??

How do you make the pretzel stuff? That sounds yuuummmyy

Pizza works! ;-) As for the pretzel stuff, I bought it from the apple orchard. I must say it is quite yummy, and I would love to have that recipe. It is a unique taste because the raspberries make it sweet and it has mustard in it, which gives it a savory flavor. Yum!
